Mothers Day Gift

What to gift for Mothers Day? How about a gorgeous teacup holding some chocolates and teabag presented in a gorgeous gift box. Idea cased from Mixed Up Craft check out blog for detailed information for teacup and presentation box For this project I used retired DSP (requested by customer) but other DSP can be used together with items from my stash and current items.

To make the teacup – with centre point remaining at the position for each circle

one sheet of 12 x 12 DSP, from this cut
- 11-1/2 inch diameter circle – this will make two cups, from this cut
- 6-1/2 inch diameter circle from this cut
- 4 inch diameter circle – use for saucer
for handle – 1/2 x 7 inches

To make presentation box

DSP
- reinforced lid – 9-5/8 x 9-5/8 inches, score on all sides at 1 and 2 inches
- base – 7-1/2 x 7-1/2 inches, score on all sides at 1 inch
Cardstock
- corner pieces x 4 – 1 x 6 inches, score on short side at 1.2 inch
Window Sheet
- 4 pieces – 6 x 5-1/2 inches
