This creation was cased from Mixed Up Craft (Quad Box Carrier), I adjusted the measurements to fit the size required for the swap. Each small box holds a wrapped sweet but can be used for other items or if required make larger individual boxes, adjust the size of the side panels and bottom piece.

Items required to make one complete box carrier

• 4 pieces (individual boxes) cardstock measuring 5-1/4 x 4 inches, score on long side at 1-1/4, 2-1/2, 3-3/4 and 5 inches, score on short side at 1-1/4, 2-1/4 and 3-1/2 inches on all pieces
• 2 pieces (side panels) cardstock measuring 2-1/2 x 5-1/4 inches, score on long side at 1/2 inch on both pieces
• 1 piece (bottom of carrier) cardstock measuring 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches
• 4 pieces DSP (lid of each box) measuring 1-1/8 x 1-1/8 inches
• 8 pieces DSP (2 pieces for each box side pieces) measuring 1-1/8 x 7/8 inches
• 4 pieces DSP (side panels) measuring 4-5/8 x 2-3/8 inches (reduce to 2 pieces if you do not want to layer inside and outside of side panels)
• 1 piece DSP (optional if you want to cover the bottom) 2-3/8 x 2-3/8 inches
• 2 pieces foil or cardstock (handles) measuring 2 x 3 inches
• piece of cardstock for tag and piece of foil for sentiment

Each box needs to be cut as shown.

Adhere the DSP to the top and middle two side pieces as shown.

Punch a small half circle into the front of the box for ease of opening (see side view photo below). Adhere the small side tab to form the box, adhere the tabs to form the bottom of the box. Adhere the four boxes together by the sides that have no DSP on them, ensuring the lids are facing outwards, this will form a 2-1/2 inch square in total.

Adhere the DSP to the side panels but not over the score line, adhere the panels to each side of the box by the 1/2 inch score line. Adhere the DSP to the bottom cardstock piece and adhere this to the bottom the box this will cover the side panel tabs.

Using the 2 x 3 inches piece of foil, die cut the handle using stitched rectangles, adhere the the handles to the top of the side panels (ribbon can be used instead). Punch four small butterflies using the butterfly duet punch, using glue dots adhere these to the lid of each small box. Finally die cut the word ‘thanks’ in foil adhere to the tag and tie to the handle.
