With a new catalogue launch I took part in a card swap with fellow demonstrators using products from the new catalogue. I had to make 5 cards for those in the group I had been allocated. Here is the card created using Snowman stamp set and Feels Like Frost suite.
Finished card size is 4-1/8 x 5-7/8 inches.
- Thick Whisper White Cardstock 8-1/4 x 5-7/8 inches, score on long side 4-1/8 inches
- Seaside Spray layer 4 x 5-3/4 inches; piece for die cut layer
- Whisper White Cardstock layer 3-7/8 x 5-5/8 inches – layer embossed with Subtle 3d embossing folder; piece for stamped image and sentiment
Adhere the Seaside Spray layer to the card base and the Whisper White layer to the Seaside Spray – you will have a think border on each layer. Die cut the frame in Seaside Spray and die cut the Whisper White image layer using the die. Stamp the snowman image, to make him glitter I used the Shimmer Crystal Effects on the snowman, snowballs and added Ice Stampin” Glitter on top, remember to let this dry before doing anything else; coloured the nose. Once dry adhered this to the Seaside Spray frame, using dimensional on the frame adhered to the front of card. Stamp the hat image and punch the image out, colour as required and adhere to the card front. Stamp the sentiment, cut banners into each end and adhere to the front of the card. Tie a bow with matching button adhere to card sing glue dots. Your card is now complete.
