Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year, and welcome back. We are into the new catalogue and Sale-A-Bration and thought I would share a card using free – yes free – papers.

Easy are called Envelope Gatefold cards and were inspired by Mixed Up Craft, card style is so easy and quick to create.

This is how the card will look when closed to insert into envelope and how viewed when received

Card can be displayed like this or the version below again – personal preference I prefer this one

Finished card size is 6 x6 inches

• Coloured cardstock
  • card base – 12 x 12 inches
    • score on each side at 3 inches
    • on two opposite side make a mark at 6 inches
  • piece for sentiment layer
• DSP
  • 4 pieces for sides – 2-3/4 x 5-2/3 inches
  • 2 pieces for triangles – 3-3/4 x 3-3/4 inches, cut diagonally to form 4 pieces
• Whisper White cardstock
  • for inside – 5-3/4 x 5-3/4 inches
  • front sentiment 2 pieces

Once card base was been scored and marked remove the 4 corners, then cut from the mark to the score line to form the top triangles. Adhere the DSP to the card base. Die cut the sentiment layers and stamp in co-ordinating card base ink the sentiment and message. Adhere the Whisper White to card base, adhere the sentiment layers attach the with liquid glue to the top triangle, add velcro dot to the bottom of the sentiment and bottom triangle. The velcro dot will keep the card closed and when displayed. Add embellishments if required.
