Balloons and birthdays just seem to go together, what better way than to combine some balloon paper with some balloon shapes and cheeky raccoon holding them.
Finished card size 5-7/8 x 4-1/4 inches
- Terracotta Tile cardstock
- card base – 5-7/8 x 8-1/4 inches, score on long side at 4-1/8 inches
- piece for heart balloon – die cut
- Whisper White cardstock
- 2 pieces – 5-5/8 x 3-7/8 inches (front and insider layers)
- piece for nested label die
- piece for stamped image and sentiment
- DSP – 5-3/8 x 3-5/8 inches
- Daffodil Delight cardstock for round balloon
- Bermuda Bay cardstock for round balloon
- Black cardstock for balloon strings
- Silver Foil for bow
Adhere the DSP to the Whisper White layer, attach this to the card base front. Stamp, colour and die cut the raccoon, die cut the balloons in different coloured cardstock (2 round and 1 heart shape), set of balloon strings in black cardstock, a bow in silver foil and the third smallest nested label die in Whisper White cardstock. Using Granny Apple Green ink stamp grass to the bottom the nested label piece, attach to the front of the DSP centrally, Make 2 small slits in the raccoons paws, cut the balloon strings at the narrowest part and push one through the top slit to appear going into the paw, add the other piece through the bottom slit to appear coming out of the paw, add adhesive to the back top raccoon to keep in place. Attach raccoon with dimensionals to the nested label die, cover the balloons in Wink of Stella, attach a dimensional to the round balloons and two to heart balloon, add dot of glue to end of strings and add balloons a shown. Stamp sentiment and fussy cut, adhere to the end of string and adhere bow. For the inside layer stamp a couple of balloons and strings and the sentiment, adhere layer to the inside of card base.
