Under My Umbrella for Special Someone

Made this special card for a very special person who achieved a milestone in sales of 1,000,000, what an achievement. Card has been created specifically to incorporate her favourite colour and love of rainbows – Cherry Cobbler card base and colourful flowers.

Finished card size is 5-7/8 x 5-7/8 inches

Cherry Cobbler
- card base – 5-7/8 x 11-3/4 inches, score on long side at 5-7/8 inches
- piece for sentiment layer and loose flowers
Whisper White
- front layer – 5-5/8 x 5-5/8 inches
- inside layer – 5-5/8 x 5-5/8 inches
- pieces for stamped images and sentiment
Mossy Meadow
- bottom grass layer – 6 x 1-1/2 inches, die cut top
- top grass layer – 6 x 3/4 inches, die cut top
Silver Foil for 2 bows

Under My Umbrella stamp set and using memento ink stamp

2 open umbrellas – punch and colour in cherry cobbler
1 half closed umbrella – punch and colour in cherry cobbler
3 umbrella handles – punch
2 sets of the 4 different flowers – fussy cut and colour as required

Special Someone stamp set

using memento ink stamp 1 squirrel – die cur and colour in Dark/Light Calypso Coral
using cherry cobbler ink stamp
- 2 round outline balloons – die cut and coat in Wink of Stella
- 1 filled in heart balloon – die cut and coat in Wink of Stella
- squirrel saying – die cut, stamp in cherry cobbler
using cherry cobbler cardstock 4 small and 4 large flowers – die cut add embellishment in centre

Peaceful Moments stamp set, using cherry cobbler stamp the sentiment

Add the two layers of grass to the front of the white front layer. With scrap piece of paper punch the open umbrella and handle and stick handle to reverse, place this where you want the umbrella to be positioned and stamp different set of flowers onto whisper white layer. Colour these flowers, attach the handle to the reverse of the umbrella and adhere with glue dots. Attach fussy cut flowers to front of umbrella with glue dots. Repeat for the second open umbrella. Stamp main sentiment on Whisper White in Cherry Cobbler, add to coloured cardstock. Attach three balloons with glue dots, add dimensionals to the sentiment ensuring that bottom right hand corner catches the umbrella handle, draw some balloon strings to the sentiment, and attach silver bow to bottom right hand corner of sentiment. Add squirrel with glue dots to the grass, attach squirrel saying with liquid glue, attach handle to half closed umbrella, attach this with glue dots at an angle. add the red flowers with liquid glue Finally add the inside layer to the card.
