The original idea came from Pootlespapercraft where it was designed as a bag to hold a bar of chocolate, loved the idea so I adapted it to a box to hold a chocolate lolly, these lovely Belgian chocolate ones.
The box disguises the contents fully, can you guess which one is inside each box.
Finished size is 7/8 x 3 x 6-1.2 inches
- Cardstock – 8-1/4 x 8-3/4 inches
- score on the long side at 7/8, 7-3/8, 8-1/4
- score on the short side at 7/8, 3-7/8, 4-3/4, 7-3/4 inches
- DSP – 2 pieces 2-7/8 x 6-3/8 inches
Cut the cardstock, adhere DSP to front and back panels, punch a half circle and round the corners of the closing tab as shown.
Adhere the side tab to form the box, adhere the bottom of the box by closing the back tab then the side tabs and then the front tab. Stamp a Christmas tree onto Whisper White, punch the image, hole punch to add twine. Cane is made from pipe cleaner adhered to front of box securing tag at the same time. Add the chocolate and close your box to gift.
