Who doesn’t like chocolate and what a novelty to make these decorations for the tree using up smaller pieces of DSP. Each decoration holds 4 or 5 chocolate coins which can be found in most places this time of the year, this will appeal to all ages especially with the irresistible snowman on the front.

• DSP – 4-1/4 x 4-1/4 inches, score on long side at 1, 3 inches; score on short side at 1/2,  3-1/4 inches
• Whisper White for stamped image
• Black cardstock for arms if required
• Depending on how many coins you are putting into each decoration paper size and scoring   may need to change; just remember to allow 1/2 inch for bottom tab and one inch for top tab; side tabs – one needs to be 1/4 inch wider to close.

Remove the small squares at the bottom (by 1/2 inch score line), round the corners of the top tab. Add tear and tape to the top of the wider side piece and adhere the other side section to it, add tear and tape to the bottom tab to close.

Add ribbon to the decoration securing loosely at the top with a knot, make a loop to hang on the tree securing with another knot. Stamp the snowman image in memento ink and punch out. Hats and mittens were fussy cut from the DSP, punch out arms in black if required; adhere accessories to the snowman, add dimensionals to the snowman but only on the edges in order that the ribbon sits through the middle. Add to the front of the decoration. All that needs to be done now is to add the coins – ribbon will slide off for contents to be added and removed.
