Christmassy Ideas #17 – Brightly Gleaming Card

This is a different type of christmas card and I am loving the effect, using the gorgeous ribbon for the sentiment and is made using one piece of coloured A4 cardstock.

Finished card size 5-7/8 x 5-7/8 inches

Coloured cardstock base – 5-7/8 x 11-3/4 inches, score on long side at 5-7/8 inches
Vellum
- card layer 5-5/8 x 5-5/8 inches
- sentiment layer
DSP – 5-3/8 x 5-3/8 inches
Whisper White – 5-5/8 x 5-5/8 inches

Add tear and tape to reverse of DSP and adhere to the vellum, add tear and tape to the vellum and add to the card front. Die cut the sentiment layer in vellum using the Frosted Frame die. Cut the ribbon with the sentiment required add tear and tape to the reverse, adhere to the vellum centrally, add the elements, ribbon and elements will hide the glue dots to adhere the vellum to the card front. Adhere the whisper white piece to the inside of the card, cut sentiment from ribbon, adhere to the card using tear and tape. Card is now complete.
