There was no question on the type of card for this special birthday – a rugby fanatic – so had to be a rugby shaped card. Really straightforward card to make after the shape has been designed.
Finished card size is 5-7/8 x 7-7/8 inches
- Early Expresso cardstock – 6 x 8 inches, scored to make lines of the ball and stitching
- Gold Foil
- Thick Whisper White cardstock – 11.75 x 8 inches, score on long side at 5-7/8 inches
To create this card made a template in an oval shape using a plate, once happy with the shape draw around the template on the Early Expresso cardstock and cut the shape. On the Thick Whisper White cardstock ensure that apron 3 inches of the fold remains. Happy Birthday is die cut from Well Written dies, the number is die cut from the retired large numbers and the letters for the name was drawn and cut with a craft knife from gold foil. Words and name adhered to the card using liquid glue, the numbers are adhered with dimensionals.
Unusual shaped birthday card is now complete.
