This weeks challenge for Stampin’ For All, was to create an item using only black and white. This is my creation which is quick and easy.
Materials Needed
- Basic Black cardstock – 8.25 x 5.75 inches, score on long side at 4 1/8 inch (card base); 3 5/8 x 5.25 inches (top layer); scrap for sentiment
- Whisper White cardstock – 3 7/8 x 5.5 inches (one for layer and one for inside of card); scrap to layer sentiment
- Beautiful You stamp set
- White Embossing Powder
- White Tulle Ribbon
Putting the card together
- Burnish the card base and adhere the Whisper White layer to the front of the card
- Use the Embossing Buddy first then stamp the image using Versarmark and heat emboss in white powder to the black top layer; embossing buddy, stamp and heat emboss the sentiment to scrap of black cardstock
- Adhere the sentiment to the scrap whisper white layer and put dimentionals on the back
- Position the ribbon, adhere to the back of the card
- Adhere the black layer to the card base ensuring centrally positioned
- Adhere the sentiment on top pf the ribbon
- Adhere the Whisper White card to the inside of the card and stamp as relevant
- Your card is now complete
