All Things Thanks

I found a beautiful card on youtube created my versions here; the original was created by Scrimpy Mommy. If you check out her version you will see my first attempt in Blackberry Bliss is very similar, I then created the Emerald Envy version. These cards are very quick to make and I think effective so why not have a go yourself and create your version.

Materials Needed

Coloured Cardstock (I used Blackberry Bliss and Emerald Envy) – 11.5 x 4 1/8 inches, score on long side at 5.75 inches; 2 x 4 inches for layer plus a contrast piece 1.75 x 3.5 inches for layer (Mint Macaron used)
DSP – 3.75 x 5.5 inches (in the above versions I used Petal Promenade and Share What You Love); 1.75 x 3.5 inches for layer (Petal Promenade version I used the reverse of the DSP on the card base)
Whisper White – 3.75 x 5.5 inches for the inside

Putting the card together

Burnish the score line of the card base, if desired each corner or the two opposite corners can be punched (as per versions shown which I used the Detailed Trio Punch)
Whatever shape you have used on the card base the DSP and Whisper White needs to be punched the same
Adhere the DSP to the card base using liquid glue
Adhere the Whisper Whisper to the inside of the card base using liquid glue
Stamp the sentiment on the top layer of the smaller piece ensuring sentiment is to the left of the DSP or cardstock using ink that matches the card base
Once dried, I carefully went over the sentiment with a Wink of Stella
At this stage if you want to corner the piece as required
On the Blackberry Bliss I left this but but on the Emerald Envy the cardstock the corners were punched on all four corner but the lighter piece of cardstock was only corner punched on two
Adhere the DSP to the cardstock ensuring that this is placed to the left using liquid glue
On the Blackberry Bliss I tapered the right hand corners to it looked like a luggage tag
Each piece of cardstock is then hole punched (this is just eyed up centrally)
Taking a piece of ribbon, tie this to the cardstock into a bow
Adhere this to the card base using dimensionals
Place the embellishments as required
The card is now complete
