Playing with Patterns and Zebras

Todays card uses the colourful Playing with Patterns DSP and the Zany Zebras stamp set for a cheerful birthday card.

Finished card size is 6 x 6 inches

  • Calypson Coral cardstock – 6 x 12 inches, score on long side at 6 inches
  • DSP
    • front layer – 5-3/4 x 5-3/4 inches
    • inside strip – 1/4 x 5-3/4 inches
  • Whisper White cardstock
    • inside layer – 5-3/4 x 5-3/4 inches
    • piece for stamped images and sentiments

Stamp the 3 zebra images in Magenta Madness, 3 part hats in Cinnamon Cider and fussy cut, Stamp 2 of the sentiments in Magenta Madness, fussy cut as a word bubble. Adhere the DSP to the card front add the zebras to card front with dimensionals. Use liquid glue to the word bubble adhere in place as if zebra talking. Stamp ‘Happy Birthday’ in Coastal Cabana straight onto the DSP. Adhere strip of DSP to Whisper White layer, stamp sentiment in Coastal Cabana, stamp a hat in Cinnamon Cider to match zebra hats, adhere piece to inside of card. Finish the card by adding in-colour elements, Wink of Stella on tail/mane and shimmery crystal effects on the hooves.
