Pootlers Blog Hop January 2020

The theme for this blog hop is Mini-Catalogue/Sale-A-Bration, of which there is a whole host to choose from. I decided to make an easy card using a delightful free product – the Golden Honey Bee speciality paper, mainly due to the fact that I have only recently submitted my order for new products but already had the gorgeous paper from a pre-order,

This printed paper has black and white imagery with gold foil accents on some designs and is double sided. The DSP used in this card used the front and reverse of the same piece, with the bees being cut from another piece.

Add the DSP layer to the card front centrally, add top DSP layer to the black cardstock layer (will have a small border), adhere this to the card front centrally. Hardest part of this card was the fussy cutting the 3 bee and 2 flowers from the DSP but I think it was worth the time and effort.

The bees are attached to the layer using a double layer of glue dots to raise the sightly but not as much as a dimensional. The flowers are adhered with liquid glue once the sentiment was stamped and punched. Flowers had a Wink of Stella coating once adhered. Another 2 pieces of black cardstock is punched and cut in half, one vertically and one horizontally, with the label punch and adhered behind the stamped layer. Sentiment added to card front with dimensionals.
