At this time of year boxes are always handy items to have available. I made these last year thanks to Intatwyne Designs who they were cased from. This year changed the wording but still used the now retired Detailed Santa dies. An alternative has been created with the Stained Glass dies to show how alternatives dies can be used.
Finished box size 4 x 4 x 2 inches
- Coloured cardstock
- base – 7-15/16 x 7-15/16 inches, score at 2 inches on each side
- inside lid topper – 3-15/16 x 3-15/16 inches
- Thick Whisper White
- lid – 6 x 6 inches, score at 1 inch on each side
- lid topper – 4 x 4 inches
- Double Sided Adhesive sheet – 4 x 4 inches
Adhere the adhesive sheet to the lid topper, die cut the image, remove the backing and sprinkle with glitter, I used retired sparkling diamonds. Santa boxes sentiment is heat embossed in white embossing powder on the coloured inside piece. Add glue to the reverse of the lid topper, adhere the coloured piece of cardstock to the die cut. Cut both the lid and base on the score line to form tabs and adhere this to form the box and lid. Add the lid topper to the lid. Stained glass sentiment stamped in co-ordinating ink adhered using dimensional. Box is complete and ready to use.
