Good Morning Magnolia Shutter card

This is a shutter card using the fabulous Magnolia Lane DSP for a birthday.

The card base is essentially a gatefold card with a bellyband. The finished card size is 5 x 7 inches.

Mossy Meadow card base 10 x 7 inches, score on long side at 2.5 and 7.5 inches; centre piece 3-7/8 x 7 inches; 2 pieces 3.5 x 4 inches score on long side at 0.5 inches (shutter); 1 x 11.5 inches (bellyband); piece for leaves
Whisper White cardstock 2 pieces 2 x 6.75 inches (message for inside); piece for sentiment and stamped images
Magnolia Lane DSP 2 pieces 2.25 x 6.75 inches; centre piece 3-5/8 x 6.75 inches; 1 x 5 inches (bellyband)

Adhere the 2 pieces of DSP to the front of the card base using liquid glue. Adhere the centre DSP to the centre Mossy Meadow, die cut a circle about 1.5 inches from the top centrally. On the shutter pieces mark on 3.5 inch side the mid point and mark 2 inches in, cut diagonally from two corners to the mid point (opposite side to score line). Stamp three buds onto Whisper White cardstock in stamped off Mossy Meadow ink, die cut images; die cut two leaves; shade the bud images using blends and Wink of Stella if required. Position centre piece to centre of card and there one of the buds using liquid glue in the centre of the circle. Adhere the centre piece on the back of the card using dimensionals. Use tear and tape on the half inch score line of the 2 shutter pieces, line up underneath the centre piece ensuring the edge is just inside the card base score line then shut the fromt of the card, this will adhere to the card to open and close the shutter. On the two pieces of Whisper White stamp as required and adhere to the inside of the card ensuring that they do not interfere with the shutter mechanisms. Fold the Mossy Meadow bellyband around the card and adhere the ends, adhere the reverse of the DSP to the front of the bellyband. Stamp the sentiment in Petal Pink ink, adhere a bud and leaf to each side of the sentiment ,adhere to the bellyband using dimensionals.
