First Steps card

Today I have a new baby card which has been made using Lemon Lime Twist and the stamp set First Steps from the Spring/Summer catalogue.

The finished card size is 7 x 5 inches.

Lemon Lime Twist cardstock – 10 x 7 inches, score on long side at 5 inches; piece for sentiment layer
Whisper White yardstick – 4.75 x 6.75 inches (front layer), 4.25 x 6.25 inches (inside layer); 4 pieces each 1.5 x 1.5 inches; piece for sentiment
Gingham Gala DSP – 4.5 x 6.5 inches (inside layer); 4 pieces 1.75 x 1.75 inches; piece for sentiment layer; piece for the back of card

Using the star image stamp the front Whisper White layer using Lemon Lime Twist ink randomly, using liquid glue adhere the layer to the front of the card base. Stamp two hand and two feet images on the Whisper White square pieces using Lemon Lime Twist, adhere these pieces to the square DSP pieces. Adhere these pieces to the front of the card using dimensionals. Stamp the sentiment onto Whisper White, layer onto a piece of Gala Gingham and then onto Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, using dimensionals adhere the sentiment to the front of the card. Stamp an image of the bottle and with Lemon Lime Twist ink, fussy cut and adhere to the fromt of the card using a dimensional.

Adhere the DSP layer to the inside of the card. Stamp the Whisper White layer using Lemon Lime Twist ink, the sentiment and hearts, adhere this to the DSP using liquid glue. If required adhere a piece of DSP to the back of the card.

Your card is now complete, if required stamp an image on the envelope to coordinate.
