Silver Anniversary

Someone I know has a Silver Wedding Anniversary soon and what an excuse to make them a unique card. Note the sentiment uses a retired stamp set.

Materials Needed

  • Whisper White cardstock – 7 x 10 inches, score on long side at 5 inches (card base); 6.5 x 4.5 inches (top layer)
  • Silver foil – 6.75 x 4.75 inches
  • Silver Glimmer Paper
  • White Metallic edge ribbon
  • Butterfly Gala Bundle
  • Beauty Abound Bundle
  • Silver Embossing Powder

Putting the card together

  • From the Beauty Abounds dies take the four small butterflies and die cut these in silver glimmer paper
  • Using one of the stamps from Butterfly Gala, heat emboss two small butterflies in silver
  • Using the butterfly punch, punch out the embossed butterflies and one in silver glimmer paper
  • Burnish the card base and adhere the silver foil to the card base
  • Cut two pieces of ribbon and adhere to the front of the card with tear and tape to keep it in position – one straight and one at an angle (leaving space for the sentiment)
  • Heat emboss in silver the sentiment
  • Adhere this layer to the card base centrally
  • The die cut butterflies were adhered to the card using liquid glue, and the punched butterflies adhered using a curled up glue dot
  • Stamp the inside of the card with relevant sentiment as required
  • Your card is now complete

Thank you for looking, hope you enjoy making your version.
