I am falling in love with this Broadway Bound suite which can be found in the annual catalogue and todays card uses items from the suite.

• Basic Black Cardstock – 2 pieces: 8 x 6 inches, scored on log side at 2 inches; 6 x 2 inches; plus scrap for the word
• Whisper White – 5.75 x 5.75 inches (for the inside)
• DSP – 2 pieces both 5.75 x 1.75 inches plus scrap for candles
• Acetate – 6 x 3 inches (allows for an overlap of half an inch on both piece of black cardstock)
• Gold foil – for word and candles

Putting the card together 

• Using liquid glue or tear and tape adhere the acetate to the top front of the card (two inch score line is for the front of the card and allow approximately half an inch of the acetate to stick this to the basic black cardstock)
• With the smaller piece of basic black cardstock line up this up with the bottom of the card and adhere the acetate to the front again with approximately half an inch overlap
• When done the front of the card will have a gap of 2 inches on the front
• Adhere the DSP to the front of card on the basic black cardstock to cover the acetate joins
• Adhere the Whisper White cardstock to the inside of the card for the sentiment and candles to be adhered
• Die cut the word ‘Wish’ from the suite in black cardstock and gold foil; die cut the flame of the candles in gold foil; die cut the candles in DSP
• Adhere the gold foil ‘Wish’ to the basic black cardstock but not quite on top of each other; then adhere to the front of the card (remember when die cutting the word the dot for the ‘I’ is separate can can easily be lost)
• Adhere the candles and the flames to the inside of the card using dimensionals
• Stamp the sentiment so it can be seen through the acetate
• Card is now complete
