You’re Inspiring – Daffodils

This week you have the choice of two cards from the You’re Inspiring stamp set. Base cardstock colours are the same for both cards and used each flower stamp with a different sentiment, still leaving other sentiments for you to use with this stamp set or others.

Both these cards look fresh and feel spring is on its way after last weeks snow.

Cardstock

Old Olive – 5.5 x 8 inches; scored at 4 inches

Daffodil Delight – 5.25 x 3.75 inches

Whisper White – 5 x 3.5 inches (outside); 5.25 x 3.75 inches (inside); plus scrap to stamp the sentiment

Gold Foil – scrap for oval

Putting the card together Mothers Day

Adhere Daffodil Delight cardstock to the front of the Old Olive card base, using liquid glue
Adhere the larger piece of Whisper White to the inside of the card, using liquid glue
Using the smaller piece of Whisper White portrait stamp the daffodil image
Using the relevant coloured blends, colour the image and adhere this to the Daffodil Delight cardstock, using liquid glue
Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of Whisper White
Using the stitched oval (second smallest) die cut the Whisper White
Using the second smallest scalloped oval die cut the Gold Foil
Adhere the sentiment to the gold foil using dimensionals
Adhere the sentiment to the card using liquid glue

Putting the card together Happy Easter

Adhere Daffodil Delight cardstock to the front of the Old Olive card base, using liquid glue
Adhere the larger piece of Whisper White to the inside of the card, using liquid glue
Using the smaller piece of Whisper White landscape stamp the daffodil image twice along the base of the card
Using the relevant coloured blends, colour the image and adhere this to the Daffodil Delight cardstock, using liquid glue
Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of Whisper White
Using the stitched oval smallest) die cut the Whisper White
Using the smallest scalloped oval die cut the Gold Foil
Adhere the sentiment to the gold foil using dimensionals
Adhere the sentiment to the card using liquid glue
