Fresh Fig Cake Soiree Card

This card is made using the Cake Soiree Stamp Set and the Sweet Soiree DSP from the new Spring/Summer catalogue. The card was used in the January Pootlers Card Swap event showcasing products from the new catalogue.

Fresh Fig cardstock sizes – 5.5 x 7 inches score at 4 inches on long side; 2.75 x 2.5 inches

Whisper White cardstock sizes – 5.25 x 2.75 inches; 5.25 x 3.75 inches; 2.5 z 2.25 inches

Sweet Soiree DSP size – 5 x 2.5 inches

Putting the card together

Adhere the DSP to the 5.5 x 2.75 piece of whisper white and then adhere this to the front of the fresh fig cardstock – liquid glue was used but other adhesives can be used
Using the present image and Fresh Fig ink, stamp the image in the centre of the smallest whisper white piece of cardstock; using the ‘for you’ image stamp the image on front of the present image using Fresh Fig ink
Using blends colour the image as appropriate
Adhere the whisper white to the smallest Fresh Fig piece of cardstock – liquid glue was used but other adhesives can be used
Adhere on just half this piece, ensuring that it is placed centrally on the front of the card and at the edge of inside of the card – liquid glue was used but other adhesives can be used
Using the two branch images and Fresh Fig ink, stamp one in the top corner and the other in the bottom corner on the largest Whisper White piece of cardstock
Adhere this to the inside of the card
Ensuring the stamped images are dry, Wink of Stella was used on the string of the present image and on the two branch images
