Snowflake – Warm and Toasty Window

Todays card is fourth in the series and has been created to show the outside looking into a room, a different play on yesterdays image. The window frame used is one from my personal stash but similar scene can be created by cutting a square/rectangle in the middle of DSP and cut thin strips and adhere to the other side of the DSP to form the window panes.

Finished card size is 5-7/8 x 4-1/8 inches (half sheet of UK A4)

Thick Whisper White card base – 8-1/4 x 5-7/8 inches, score on long side at 4-1/8 inches
DSP – 5-5/8 x 3-7/8 inches\
Acetate to cover window
Whisper White for mice and reindeer images and sentiment
Green foil for tree

Stamp mice and reindeer images onto whisper white, colour and fussy cut. Punch tree in green foil, stamp sentiment in Balmy Blue and fussy cut. Die cut centrally the window frame in the DSP, adhere tree with liquid glue (so it can be seen through the window), adhere mice with liquid glue in front of tree base and decorate tree with rhinestones. The bauble between the mice has been covered with fine tip glue to give a glossy appearance but make sure this is dry before proceeding further putting card together. Cover the inside of the window frame with acetate using Tear and Tape. Add dimensionals fo the DSP (this will lift the DSP from card front) and carefully add to card front. Adhere sentiment and reindeer to card with dimensionals. Your card is now complete.
