This months theme is “Easter”, so much to choose from ideas spinning around in my head. I created these (I think) gorgeous Easter baskets which contain 5 mini chocolate eggs together with glitter eggs/carrots depending on image on the front. These are easy to make and go together in no time.

Coloured Cardstock

• front and back – 2 pieces 2-3/4 x 3-1/4 inches
  • on long side mark in 1/2 inch each side, from this mark draw a line to bottom corner and remove these two sections
• sides and bottom – 7-3/4 x 3 inches
  • score on short side at 1/2 and 2-1/2 inches
  • score on long side at 2-3/4 and 5 inches
• handle – length of cardstock x 1 inch
  • score on short side at 1/2 inch
• piece for oval

Whisper White

• piece for stamped image, sentiment and oval

Stamp sentiment and image, colour and fussy cut image. The pieces for the basket were embossed using the Basket Weave embossing folder, once embossed notch from the edge to the 1/2 inch score line where the other score lines meet to help the pieces adhere together. Add the front and back pieces to the bottom section (2-1/4 inches), bring up the sides and adhere to front and back pieces. I adhered the handle to the outside of the basket and covered with stash ribbon (1 inch side x 11-1/4 inches) – join at front as this is covered by ovals. Die cut ovals, adhere together, adhere image and adhere to front of basket. Sentiment adhered to handle and bow added to the top. Fill basket with required contents and it is ready to go.
