Fancy Fold New Born Easel Card

Two fancy fold baby easel cards created using Little Elephant stamp set and punch, Layering Circles, DSP (retired), Blushing Bride/Balmy Blue and Whisper White cardstock.

Folded card will fit into a 4 x 4 inches envelope

Blushing Bride/Balmy Blue
- card base – 8 x 8 inches, score on two sides at 4 inches (have 4 squares) cut one score line to the centre of the square, the other two squares to be scored diagonally (will form flaps)
- pieces for circle layers
- folded piece for easel
DSP – 2 pieces 3-3/4 x 3-3/4 inches, one piece cut diagonally
Whisper White
- sentiment layer – 3-3/4 x 3-3/4 inches
- pieces for circle layers

Die cut the scalloped circle to make the easel part using the folded piece of cardstock ensuring part of the die does not cut the complete fold. On one circle score centrally parallel to the score line (this forms the easel). Die cut one large scalloped circle (same die as easel) and two smaller scalloped circles in coloured cardstock. Die cut circles slightly smaller in Whisper White – two large and two smaller ones.

Stamp images onto small whisper white circles, stamp and punch the elephants, stamp balloons on large circle. Adhere small elephant with glue dots and large elephant with dimensionals so they are holding the balloons. Adhere the stamped whisper white circles to the scalloped coloured circles, add the other large whisper white circle to the bottom layer of the easel. On the Whisper White sentiment layer stamp the images. Stamp the chequered image to form the easel stop.

Prepare the card base, adhere the DSP triangles and DSP square onto the relevant sections. Adhere the sentiment layer onto the other square. Using dimensionals add the two small circles to the triangle DSP section. Adhere the elephant layer to one half of the easel, add the the complete easel part to the DSP square base. Add dimensionals to the easel stop and place approx halfway on the easel base. Add embellishments required, your card is complete.
