Christmassy Ideas #2 – Feels Like Frost

This one is a card using Feels Like Frost, not just one but two cards using the same technique but with different images from this beautiful DSP.

Finished cards are 4-1/8 x 5-7/8 inches

Thick Whisper White card base – 8-1/4 x 5-7/8 inches, score on the long side at 4-1/8 inches
Night of Navy crd stock layer – 4 x 5-3/4 inches
DSP – 3-7/8 x 5-5/8 inches; piece for die cut rectangle
Vellum – for die cut rectangle and sentiment

Adhere the Night of Navy cardstock to the card base (this will leave a small margin on all sides), add the DSP to the layer. Die cut the vellum using the 4th smallest die and a corresponding piece of DSP using the 3rd smallest die. Using tear and tape adhere the DSP to the vellum centrally, then using tear and tape on the vellum but only within the DSP boundary adhere this to the card base centrally. Heat emboss the sentiment in white onto vellum, once completely dry fussy cut the sentiment adhere with glue dots to the smallest layer (glue dots are added behind the largest letters so not to show). The card is not complete.
