Well October is here and I don’t know about you but I am starting to create my Christmas cards, so over the next couple of weeks I will share with you my creations.
The first one has been created using Feels Like Frost DSP, Elfie and Itty Bitty Christmas stamp sets.
Finished card size is 4-1/8 x 5-7/8 inches
- Thick Whisper White cardstock – 8-1/4 x 5-7/8 inches, score on long side at 4-1/8 inches
- Silver foil card layer – 4 x 5-3/4 inches; piece for sentiment layer
- DSP – 3-3/4 x 5-1/2 inches
- Whisper White yardstick for staled images and sentiment
Adhere the silver foil to the card base centrally (will have a very small margin of card base showing on all sides). Add the DSP (this is the reverse of one of the papers) using tear and tape (sticks easier to foil card). Stamp the images and sentiment in memento ink, colour the images as required – for the fur on the left Ice Glitter was used, and for the ribbon on the presents Wink of Stella was added. Once the glitter is dry the images were fussy cut. The elf was added using dimensionals, the pink gift added with glue dots and the other two with dimensionals. The sentiment was adhered to a piece of foil with tear and tape and cut manually, add to the card using dimensionals. Card is now complete.
