This weeks challenge was ‘Spring Flowers’ and I have created this card using the Floral Frames bundle.
Materials needed
- Whisper White cardstock – 8 x 5.75 inches, score on long side at 4 inches, scrap to die cut the frame and flowers
- Soft Sea Foam cardstock – 3.75 x 5.5 inches
- Granny Apple Green cardstock for the lovage
- Garden Green cardstock for the sprig punch
- Detailed Trio Punch
- Sprig Punch
- Gold Embossing Powder
- Blends
- Wink of Stella
Putting card together
- Using the Soft Sea Foam cardstock and trio punch, punch the petals in each corner and then round each corner
- Adhere the Soft Sea Foam to the front of the card base
- Die cut the floral frame in Whisper White and heat emboss the sentiment in gold powder
- Heat emboss the flowers using the gold embossing powder – 4 lots of bunch of 3 flowers and 3 lots of 2 flowers
- Colour the flowers using blends as required and then die cut the flowers (the bunch of 2 flowers divide in 2)
- Die cut the foliage (3 sets of large leaves split into individual leaves, 3 sets of ferns, 4 sets of smaller leaves) in Granny Apple Green cardstock
- Using the Sprig punch and Garden Green cardstock punch 2 sets and divide into 4 pieces
- Wink of Stella used on all foliage
- Using liquid glue adhere the single sprigs to the underside of the floral frame at approx. each corner
- Using liquid flue adhere the foliage around the frame
- Adhere the the 4 sets of 3 flowers on top of the foliage as required using glue dots
- Adhere 4 single flowers using liquid glue to the Soft Sea Foam 2 each side of the floral frame
- Adhere 2 single flowers using glue dots on top of the 2 flowers (1 each side)
- Adhere the floral frame to the Soft Sea Foam cardstock using dimensionals
- Your card is now complete
