I share with you two versions of tea light boxes that contain 4 tea lights in each. Both boxes were made using current and retired products.

Square box

• Night of Navy cardstock – 5.5 inches x 5.5 inches: score on each side at 0.5 and 1 inch: 4 inches x 2 inches for the label
• DSP (one used is retired) – 3.5 inches x 8.5 inches; no scoring piece of DSP wrapped around the base once made and finger fold where the fold lines need to be

Vertical box

• Coastal Cabana cardstock – 7.5 inches x 5.75 inches; score on long side at 1.75, 3.5, 5.25, 7, on short side at 1.75 and 3.75 inches: 4 inches x 2 inches for the label

Putting the square box together

• Burnish, cut and mitre the base as per diagram the larger piece of Night of Navy cardstock

• Using liquid glue adhere the flaps to the sides of the box
• Using liquid glue (or tear and tape) stick the reinforced side to the inside of the box
• Take the DSP ensuring end of short side is on the bottom and gently fold around the box; burnish the folds ensuring straight
• Use tear and tape to secure the cover of the box, ensuring that it can slide on and off easily
• Put contents into box and secure with ribbon if required
• On the smaller piece of Night of Navy cardstock, using versamark, silver embossing powder, heat emboss the sentiment (one used in the example was from the Candle Cane Season set)
• Punch the top off the label using the Scalloped Tag Topper and with a glue dot adhere to the cover of the box
• Your box is now complete

Putting the vertical box together

• Before scoring, using versarmark, white embossing powder, heat emboss the larger piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock with the snow stamp from the Candy Cane Season
• At this same time, using versarmark, white embossing powder, heat emboss the smaller piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock with the sentiment stamp from the Candy Cane Season
• Burnish and cut up the lines at the bottom of the box (four boxes 1.75 each) but do not mitre, remove the small half inch recentangle
• Using tear and tape adhere to the half inch side panel and close the side of the box
• Using liquid glue or tear and tape close the bottom of the box
• Punch two holes at the top of the box using a hole punch, add contents and secure with the ribbon
• Punch the top off the label using the Scalloped Tag Topper and with a glue dot adhere to the box or secure with the ribbon
• Your box is now complete
