Frosted Floral Box

Todays box uses very little, no glue, a 6 x 6 inches piece of Frosted Floral DSP, ribbon, small piece of cardstock for sentiment. The original idea came from Pootles Papercraft but these little boxes I have used a smaller piece of DSP. I made these little boxes which contain two tea lights, ideal for an up and coming craft fayre for the time of year of teachers gifts or little gifts.

Putting the box together

Burnish each fold as you go
Fold the piece of DSP in half, lengthways and widthways (DSP divided into quarters)
Fold each corner into the centre point
Take one corner and place it on the top opposite score line ensuring that the side score lines match up with the other score lines, do this on the other three corners
On each side you will have two small triangles on the edge; each triangle needs to be pinched together inwards (ie folded in half)
Gently ease the box together, fold two opposite sides and then the other two opposite sides; when folding you will need to ease the corner small squares in half diagonally
Stamp a sentiment of your choice (I used a retired stamp set but you will need a small sentiment due to the size of the box, will show current ones below that could be used), I used Blueberry Bushel ink to match the DSP, a rhinestone was added
Place the two tea lights inside, add the stamped sentiment and tie the ribbon around
You box is now complete
